Expert Category Management (m//d)

• Take end-to-end commercial ownership for assigned Non-Food categories and drive sales, margin and customer relevance
  
• Define and develop category strategies, customer missions and assortment architectures, including Core, Seasonal and One-shot logic
  
• Translate market trends, customer insights and performance data into assortment, pricing and promotion decisions
  
• Manage and optimise the merchandise mix across Exclusive Brands and branded supplier portfolios
  
• Analyse sales, margin, stock and market data to identify opportunities, risks and concrete actions
  
• Collaborate closely with Sourcing, EB Development, Space Management, Planning, Marketing Activation and country teams
  
• Contribute to building the future Non-Food Category Management framework and stronger cross-functional ways of working

• A degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, Economics or a comparable field
  
• Several years of experience in Category Management, Assortment Management, Buying or Commercial Retail, ideally in Non-Food
  
• Strong commercial understanding of assortment steering, category performance management, pricing and promotions
  
• Strong analytical skills and confidence in working with sales data, KPIs and performance reports
  
• Good negotiation skills and confidence in working with internal and external stakeholders
  
• Structured, solution-oriented working style with the ability to manage complex topics independently
  
• Strong communication skills in an international environment as well as fluent German and professional English
